ASTM F 1249- 90 for water vapor (25° C; 60 % r.h) < 0.010g /sqm x d = limit of method.
ASTM D 3985- 81 for oxygen (25° C; 100 % r.h) < 0.005 cc /sqm x d x bar = limit of method.
Storage Conditions
12 months at: temperature 15°C – 35°C; relative humidity 30-70% Rh.
To be stored in the original packaging in a dry place, protected from sunlight and rods.
Clearance Certificate:
The product from this specification to be used for pharmaceutical packaging and only for the appropriate side of the packaging material which comes into contact with the packed products.

PVDC Films

Our PVDC coated PVC film has excellent barrier properties against: moisture, water vapor, UV light, aroma, inorganic acids, alkalies, aqueous salt solutions, organic water soluble acids, aliphatic hydrocarbons, esters of long chain fatty acids, detergent base materials, emulsifying agents and wetting agents. The product categories preferred to be packed in PVDC coated PVC film are: Antibiotics, Anti Tuberculosis drugs, Vitamins, Calciums and Zinc compounds, Analgesic, Anti-inflammatory and Anti-depressents, Drugs acting on alimentary system, Ayurvedic rejuvenators, Cardiovascular drugs, Enzymes, Antiprotozal, Antihistamines and Sedatives and Hypnotics.

Empty Hard Gelatin Capsules

Empty gelatin capsules are available in various colors and color combinations including transparent and metallic capsules. These capsules are also available in various sizes.
RAW MATERIAL
In order to ensure supply of quality goods to the Customer, the right kind of materials are procured from the right source. The Principal raw materials involved include EDQM certified TSE/BSE free Gelatin and Color Pigments.
Color Pigments :
Colorants are used as per specific requirements of Customers and food colors are confirming to B.I.S. Customers are provided with exact color shades as per their customised requirement. The color shade is consistent in all the batches of production. The color pigment used are strictly as per I.P. 1996/ EU. The color shade once developed for a customer is allotted a code and is always reproduced on repeat of orders. When developing capsules for export clients, colors are developed using only those colors which are approved & allowed in that country.
Gelatin :
Bone gelatin of pharmaceutical grade is the one which is used (as per IP), which is always free from BSE and TSE, strictly HALAL, and is strictly EDQM certified.

Printing

Capsules are printed in various patterns like, Axial, Circular, Non-Rectified, Single/Double Colour Rectified. Hard Gelatin Shells are printed for product identification, dosage information and also for enhancing the cosmetic value of the finished formulation as per buyer’s choice.

Testing :

To fully guarantee the quality, after manufactured by the automatic capsule production line, Quality Control Department sets up a special multi-function test process.

Standards :

The various quality variants are controlled as per specification prescribed in I.P. However Quality Control norms are even Stringent than those specified in I.P. 1996. We operate under narrower limits for various attributes, like Dimension, Weight etc. than those permitted in I.P.
